PHOTO CUSTOMIZATION:
What kind of photo should I use for the back of the book?
Anything you want! A picture of you, a couple, your pet. Please just make sure it is 300dpi or the resolution might come out a bit blurry.
Can you crop the photo for me?
Sure. Just let me know in the notes section how you want it cropped.
What if I can't decide which photo to use?
Specify this in the "Notes" section. We will then send you an email address of where to email any additional photos.
Please remember to include your order number when emailing photos.
We will look at them (no more than 3 please) and let you know which would work best for the back cover.
ADDITIONAL CUSTOMIZATION:
Can I add my pet/child/mom/friend to the main story?
Yes! For an additional charge of $20, we will incorporate a single mention of your pet or loved one. Please describe this person/pet (name, appearance, etc) in the customization form.
Can I add a Christmas tree/Valentine's Day heart/birthday cake, etc, to the front cover of my book?
We are currently designing different covers that showcase the various holidays and events.
I would prefer a different book title. Can I change it?
Yes! For an additional $15, you can customize the title and create your own. Here's your chance to really get creative! Try not to make it too long, as it won't look as good.
GENERAL:
Is the novel an appropriate gift for a child?
No. We ask that the recipient of a PulpStar novel be over 18 years old as there are many adult themes such as sex, smoking, and drinking in the novel.

After you pay with a credit card, you will be presented with the customization form.

What information will I need to know?
Names you want to use (first AND last names. The dame should use her maiden name, goofy nickname for the dame (i.e. "freckles"), hair color, eye color, skin color, body build, favorite colors, and a special message (i.e. "Happy Birthday" or "I love you," etc…)
I ordered two separate items with two separate covers, but you only provided one form. How do I customize each item separately?
Click here to fill out a second (or third) form. Please be sure to include your order number so we can confirm that the items are yours. Also, mark off which item it is that you're customizing.
I don't like the choice of book covers.
In the coming months, we will be adding new cover options.

ORDERING/SHIPPING:
When will I receive my item?
We ship 7-10 business days from when we get your order. How quickly you receive it after that depends on the shipping method you choose. We are not responsible for your receiving your item too late due to your choosing a slower shipping method. If you are unsure of of ANYTHING in regards to shipping, please send us an email.
What are my shipping choices?
UPS Ground, UPS Next Day Air, UPS 2nd Day Air, UPS Worldwide Express
What is the cost of shipping?
To view the cost of shipping, simply add the item(s) to your cart.
Then, in the shopping cart under "Special Notes," click on the link to add or change your shipping address.
The cart will refresh with the cost of shipping.
I'm from another country and the shipping is too expensive. Do you offer a less expensive non-guaranteed way of shipping?
I'm sorry but we do not offer shipping without a tracking number. If the shipping is too expensive, please send us an email with your address PRIOR to shipping and we'll see if we can find a less expensive shipping option for you.
Can I place a rush order?
Yes. Just send us an email requesting a rush order.
Please specify what, exactly, you'd like to order, the quantity, and how soon you need it.
We will do everything in our power to get your order to you as fast as possible.
Additional rush charges may apply. Rush orders are most likely not available just before major holidays.
Help! I wanted three different
novels, one customized for my sister and her husband, a different one customized for my other sister and her husband, and one for me. But I see now that there is only space to customize for one book, and get three copies. Is there any way I can fix this?
Why yes there is! After you go through check-out, you will get the first form. Fill that one out. Then go to our order form and fill out the form as many times as you need to. PLEASE make sure you enter in your Order # correctly.
I didn't fill out the form correctly after check-out. I realized that I made a mistake! What should I do.
No problem. Go to our order form and fill it out with the correct information. Make sure you enter in your Order # correctly, and put a mention in the "Notes" section that you want the current form to over-ride the previous one.
RETURN POLICY:
What is your return policy?
We carefully inspect each item before shipment. If there is a problem with your item which resulted from our mistake, we will replace it free of charge.
Unfortunately, due to the highly personalized nature of our products, we cannot accept returns for any other reason.
Valid reasons for return of an item include: incorrect photo on back cover; misnumbered pages; missing pages; item is torn or soiled upon shipment; etc.
An invalid reason for return of an item would include misspelled names on or within the novel or print
(this instance would originate from your having incorrectly filled out initial online customization forms) or if you placed the order too late and didn't receive it on time. Please email with ANY questions (including shipping questions) you might have prior to placing an order. Remember that it takes us 7-10 business days to create your novel & print so factor in the extra shipping time.
